Joseph Garcia began competing in cycling races in Central Texas in 2007 while a student at Texas State University. His love of MTB and road cycling lead him to study bike-fitting, most notably at Cyclologic from world-renowned bike fitter and performance analyst for Trek Factory Racing, Parraic McGlinn. He opened his own business in 2013 while continuing to compete as a Category 1 racer. He moved home to El Paso in 2016 where he has continued providing bike fitting and coaching services. When he is not on the bike, he enjoys running and hiking in the mountains and hanging out with his cat Dorito. He is a member of the Zia Velo Cycling Club.
